Five member families of the Moose Mavericks, the Larsons, Liners, McGlynns, O'Cambs and the Don Schifferts accompanied by our guests, Ray & Helen Green, Shirley & Darrold Schmock and Mary & Larry Baker joined up with twenty families from the Eagles Roamers for a fun filled week at Terrible Herbst Lakeside Resort in Pahrump, NV. This was our second journey to this resort and it shall not be our last. The weather was superb for all outdoor activities. The casino was very hospitable and the food at the restaurant inexpensive. The quantity and quality of the food at our pot lucks was extraordinary. Thanks Roamers...

The Larsons, McGlynns and the Schifferts then motored thru some of the most beautiful country in the west to be joined by the Clarks and the Richards at the annual Mule Days Celebration in Bishop, CA. Mule Days in Bishop is something else, a four day event proving that a mule can do everything a horse can do and at times better. Mule Days is a rodeo...is a country fair... is a horse show featuring mules......If you have the opportunity to attend, be sure you do, but, make your reservations a year in advance.
